Seeker Clan Story
In nature, as well as history, there has always
been balance... a balance of good and evil, of light, and dark... from kindness
to ruthlessness. Our world depends on just that: balance.
Seeker was always an important part of keeping that balance in our world.
We were the peace where there was war. We were the healers where others shed
blood. We were the kind ones in this world so drawn in by the desire to fight.
But as time changed the balance that should always be maintained, was forsaken.
So many children being drawn in by the promise of war, by being heroes. That
our peaceful world was gradually becoming something of the past, much to our
dismay.
We were always strong in our hearts, because we had faith in our beliefs.
We had a leader who would always guide and help reassure us that we would always
have a place in this world, whether society believed we were truly needed or
not.. We would always be needed. Although the wise leader that offered those
words of truth had left our world to walk alongside the revered Bhaal Z'Amon,
the founder and preserver of the true spirit of Seeker. Many weak or power
hungry leaders followed in his wake, and Seeker eventually became a mere shadow
of its former glory. The years passed, and Seeker dwindled in size. Its members
feeling despair at the lack of true guidance and assistance from their leaders.
They departed reluctantly to other clans looking back upon their former home
with much sorrow and regret. But as time passed, leaders changed several times,
until one leader sought to bring the children of Seeker back to their home.
She was a former warrior, a daughter born from noble parents whom had
always followed the true spirit of what it meant to be Seeker. But, the decline
of Seeker was becoming evident to all, a weakness that this leader sought to
repair. With all of her power, and all of her strength, she fought those whom
would allow Seeker to merely be a means to practice their fighting skills on.
She fought against those who took advantage of her clan mates.
Through strife and seemingly endless sleepless nights, she vowed that never
again would the Children of Seeker be used as merely martyrs in a world that
refused to acknowledge their worth. She vowed that Seeker would become strong
again under her leadership and learn to defend themselves instead of being
constantly ground under the boots of their enemies. Neutrally-aligned, Seeker
would always remain, because Bhaal's wishes had always been for them to seek
more into finding a means to true Redemption. Rather than becoming heartless
killers that the rest of the fallen children of Bosco had become.
